Day 8 At Kentish Town
Today we toured the Columbia Road flower market. It was a thing of beauty. So many great, healthy plants at such good prices! We came back with heather, an orchid, a new bottle green vase and from the food section some pesto sauce for tonight's pasta.
Thank god Geoff is so tall because we kept losing sight of him. It was a sardine squash crowd. We skipped breakfast at home and grabbed some poached eggs on chilli sourdough with rocket salad at an Italian inspired cafe.
It was a great way to spend the day, then back to Bartholomew St for a walk with the dogs.
It was a late lunch of sausages with fried onions, avocado and tomato in the back garden as we soaked up the last of the day's warmth before Geoff hit the road for the four hour drive back home. It was another nice day and great to meet up with Geoff.
Catch up with you tomorrow as we begin our tour of the Cornwall coast. Lily
